Japanese-made cuoca x CHIYODA mini madeleine mold with 20 shell-shaped cavities. This metal baking mold is made from tin-plated steel sheet with a silicone coating and is intended for oven-baked confectionery. The individual cavities create small madeleines with the classic scallop-shell form, while the coated metal surface supports release when the mold is properly oiled.

Care

Before first use, wash with kitchen dish detergent and a soft sponge, then wipe dry. Apply butter, shortening, or other edible oil before use; spray oil is recommended for detailed cavities. Use in an oven only. Do not dry-bake empty, use over direct flame, or use in a microwave. After use, allow the mold to cool, wash with detergent and a soft sponge, wipe off water, and dry thoroughly before storage. Do not use metal scrubbers, polishing powder, or knives on the surface. Do not place in a dishwasher or dish dryer. For long-term storage, apply a thin layer of edible oil to help prevent rust.
