Japanese-made cuoca x CHIYODA metal baking mold for madeleines. The 10-cavity pan is made by Chiyoda Metal Industry, a Japanese specialist in metal baking molds, and is intended for confectionery and bread baking in an oven. The silicone-coated tin-plated steel surface is designed for baking release when properly greased before use.

Care

Before first use, wash with kitchen detergent and a soft sponge, then wipe dry. Grease the surface with butter, shortening, or cooking oil before use; spray oil is recommended for detailed shapes. Use in an oven only. Do not dry-bake, use over direct flame, or use in a microwave. After the mold cools, wash with kitchen detergent and a soft sponge, wipe off moisture, and dry thoroughly before storing. Do not use metal scrubbers, polishing powder, or knives. Do not place in a dishwasher or dish dryer. If storing for a long period, apply a thin layer of cooking oil.
