Product Description

The Zojirushi Neuro Fuzzy® Micom Rice Cooker & Warmer (NS-ZCC10) is an electric rice cooker with microcomputer-controlled fuzzy logic, built for 120V regions such as the United States (including Hawaii), Canada, and Central and South America. It has a capacity of 1.0L (approx. 5.5 cups) and runs on 120V/60Hz with a Type A plug. It is made in Japan.

The cooker uses a conventional direct-heating element under a spherical nonstick inner pan (this model is not an induction heating/IH type). It comes with a spatula (rice paddle), a spatula holder, a standard measuring cup, and a separate measuring cup for pre-washed (no-rinse) rice; the included instruction manual also features a recipe section. Instructions are provided in English, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, and the control panel display is in English.

Usage

Menu settings include White rice (Regular/Sushi, with Softer and Harder texture options), Quick Cooking, Mixed rice, Porridge, Sweet rice, Semibrown rice, Brown rice, and a dedicated Pre-Washed rice setting. Approximate cooking capacity by setting:

The delay timer offers two programmable preset times, with a settable window of a minimum of 1 hour 1 minute up to a maximum of 13 hours depending on the menu selected. When room temperature is above 77°F (25°C), avoid timer-soaking pre-washed rice for longer than 8 hours. The stainless steel inner lid is removable and fully washable. The unit uses a lithium battery to retain the clock setting, with an expected life of about 4–5 years.

This rice cooker is designed for 120V regions and is not for use in Japan.
